MicroNeedling

Micro NeedlingMicroneedling also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is a rejuvenating facial procedure that improves skin texture, firmness, skin tone and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

We use ProCell Therapies which provides the most effective microneedling treatment on the market today. Its a unique design creates clean, evenly distributed micro perforations to induce maximum collagen production.  The system creates hundreds of thousands to millions of micro-channels, micro wounds in the skin, stimulating keratinocytes to message fibroblasts to enhance natural collagen production and elastin in the dermis.  This also promotes healthy skin cell regeneration and better blood supply, which in return, forms new capillaries. During a treatment the epidermis remains intact and is not damaged.  Its 12-needle, 25-needle, and 50-needle single use, sterile and disposable needles will penetrate from 0.25 to 0.5 mm with a speed of up to 6,000 RPM in a safe and hygienic manner.

Microscopic perforations in the skin will also substantially increase the effects of topically applied serums since it allows deeper penetration of these serums.  ProCell Therapies uses a potent growth factor serum that is derived from human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.  These serums are quite effective on their own, but when combined with microneedling they yield even more dramatic results.

Microneedling can be used as a single form of treatment or it can be combined with other therapies to further enhance their effectiveness.

Most people will experience redness, almost like a light sun burn, and swelling after the treatment. This will completely disappear within 12 – 48 hours. Micro needling can be repeated every 4 – 6 weeks as needed and is a proven safe treatment.
